Why are there no NBA games today? Simple reason for the basketball-less Tuesday

The NBA intentionally scheduled no games for November 3, leaving Tuesday without any basketball action. The league deliberately avoided scheduling games on this date, which coincides with Election Day in the United States. This is a practice the NBA has maintained to encourage players, staff, and fans to participate in the democratic process.
