Why Charlie Woods will not caddie for Miles Russell in U.S. Open debut

Miles Russell, the No. 1 ranked junior golfer in the AJGA Rolex Rankings, will make his U.S. Open debut at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, with swing coach Ramon Bescansa serving as his caddie rather than Charlie Woods. Russell qualified for the 126th U.S. Open on June 8 at BallenIsles Country Club, surviving a 3-for-2 sudden death playoff on 'Golf's Longest Day.' Charlie Woods, son of Tiger Woods and a rising senior at the Benjamin School, had caddied for Russell during the 36-hole qualifier but will not carry the bag at the major.
