Why extending Bo Nix will cripple Broncos, slam Denver's Super Bowl window shut

CBS Sports argues that extending Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix would be a costly mistake that would effectively close the team's Super Bowl window. Despite being just 26 years old, Nix has reportedly struggled with deep passing, with his downfield throwing ability compared unfavorably to a 41-year-old Drew Brees dealing with a degenerative shoulder. The piece contends that committing long-term to Nix would hinder Denver's ability to compete for a championship.
