Wiegman extends England contract to Euro 2029

Sarina Wiegman has signed a contract extension with England's women's team that will keep her in charge through to the 2029 European Championships, beyond her previous deal which was set to expire in 2027. The FA offered her a package worth more than any previous Lionesses coach has received. Under Wiegman, England won the European Championships in 2022 and 2025, reached the 2023 World Cup final, and she has won the Best FIFA Women's Coach of the Year award five times.
