Wigan v St Helens game stopped as Warriors player collapses after injury
Wigan Warriors winger Nathan Lowe suffered a serious leg injury during the Magic Weekend Super League clash against St Helens at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on July 5, 2026, in just his second Super League appearance. After being pushed into touch, Lowe appeared to faint twice while being helped off the pitch by medical staff, losing consciousness near the touchline. Referee Chris Kendall halted play for several minutes while paramedics attended to Lowe, who was eventually carried down the tunnel on a stretcher.
