Will Lankshear starts off in style to see Middlesbrough past Wrexham

Will Lankshear scored on his Middlesbrough debut to secure a 1-0 victory over Wrexham in the Carabao Cup first round. Lankshear, a £10m summer signing from Tottenham, netted the only goal in the 61st minute with a first-time volley. Middlesbrough had an earlier chance in the seventh minute, but goalkeeper Danny Ward made a point-blank save to deny Adilson Malanda.
