Willie Mullins fined and horse disqualified from Cheltenham race after failed doping test

Trainer Willie Mullins has been fined and his horse disqualified from a Cheltenham race following a failed doping test. An independent British Horseracing Authority panel investigated the matter and concluded that neither Mullins nor any of his staff were aware that the prohibited substance had been administered to the horse. Despite the finding of no deliberate wrongdoing, the disqualification and fine were upheld as a result of the positive test.
