Two-time Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz has withdrawn from the 2026 tournament due to a right wrist injury sustained at the Barcelona Open. The world number two had already pulled out of the French Open, where he is the two-time defending champion, in an attempt to recover. Alcaraz confirmed his recovery is progressing but that he is not yet ready to compete.
