Wimbledon 2026: Qualifying results & updates

Several British players advanced through the first round of Wimbledon 2026 qualifying, held from 22-24 June. Dan Evans, in what he has announced will be his final Wimbledon before retiring from professional tennis, beat Juan Carlos Prado Angelo 7-6(2), 6-3, while Billy Harris, Oliver Tarvet, Henry Searle, Paul Jubb, and Max Basing also progressed. Searle, a former boys' singles champion, arrived in form after winning the Dublin Challenger the previous weekend, defeating former world No.31 Zhizhen Zhang 6-3, 6-4.
