Wimbledon 2026: Qualifying results & updates

British players competed in the opening round of Wimbledon 2026 qualifying, held from 22-24 June. Esther Adeshina claimed the biggest win of her career by defeating eighth seed Moyuka Uchijima 6-1, 3-6, 7-5, while former mixed doubles champion Heather Watson beat world No. 110 Mayar Sherif 6-2, 6-2. On the men's side, Dan Evans, Billy Harris, Oliver Tarvet, Max Basing, Henry Searle, and Paul Jubb all advanced, with Evans — who is retiring after this year's Wimbledon — defeating Juan Carlos Prado Angelo 7-6(2), 6-3.
