Wimbledon prize money increases by 20% to £64.2m

Wimbledon has announced a 20% increase in total prize money for the 2026 tournament, bringing the overall pot to £64.2m, up £10.7m from the previous year. Singles champions will each earn £3.6m, while first-round losers will receive £80,000. Qualifying competition prize money has also risen by 25%, with more than £6m set aside for that stage.
