Wimbledon set to take stand against influencers

Wimbledon's All England Club has announced it will not introduce an accreditation category for influencers or content creators, unlike the US Open which granted official accreditation to 100 content creators. The decision comes in response to disruptions at the 2024 US Open, where players including Coco Gauff and Naomi Osaka were affected by spectators using bright ring lights and making noise during points. Wimbledon will also confiscate items such as ring lights that could be used to disrupt matches, with the club's conditions of entry already prohibiting disruptive items.
