Winners and losers from the Tour de France 2026

Tadej Pogačar won the 2026 Tour de France, claiming a record-tying fifth yellow jersey to join Jacques Anquetil, Eddy Merckx, Bernard Hinault, and Miguel Induráin in cycling history. He took the lead after winning Stage 3, reinforced it with a Pyrenees victory on Stage 6, and also guided teammate Isaac del Toro to third overall. The 22-year-old del Toro, making his Tour debut, ended Mexico's 36-year stage-win drought with victory on Stage 2.
