Winners and losers of the 2027 Tour de France route

The 2027 Tour de France route has been revealed, with the 114th edition set to begin in Edinburgh, Scotland on July 2nd, 2027 — marking the first time the race has started in Scotland. The route will pass through England and Wales before entering France, featuring major climbs including the Grand Colombier, Col du Portet, and Col de Marie Blanque. A notable feature is 71km of individual time-trialing spread across the first and final weeks, the most in 15 years, which is expected to benefit Remco Evenepoel, who finished second at the 2026 Tour de France.
