With Simone Biles or not, U.S. gymnastics is looking good for 2028 L.A. Olympics

At the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands, the United States topped the medal table with at least three gold medals, demonstrating strong depth heading into the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Simone Biles, 29, attended the event in a non-competing capacity, handing out medals rather than winning them, as she has yet to decide whether she will compete at the home Games. A new generation of American gymnasts impressed, signaling the U.S. program remains in strong shape with or without Biles.
