Women's Lacrosse Races Past Maryland, 16-6, Into NCAA Final

Defending NCAA champion University of North Carolina's women's lacrosse team defeated Maryland 16-6 in an NCAA semifinal matchup held in Evanston, Illinois on May 22, advancing to the NCAA Final. Carolina dominated the contest by closing the game on a 13-3 run. Chloe Humphrey and Addison Pattillo each scored five goals to lead the Tar Heels.
