Ireland forward Aoife Wafer has been named the Women's Six Nations Player of the Championship for 2026, becoming the first player to win the award in successive years. The back row earned 40% of a fans' vote, beating England captain Meg Jones, Italy's Francesca Sgorbini, and France's Pauline Bourdon Sansus. Wafer scored five tries during the tournament to help Ireland finish third behind England and France.
