World Athletics is highest-scoring international federation in ASOIF governance review

World Athletics has achieved the highest score of 228 out of 240 in the ASOIF Sixth Review of International Federation Governance for 2025-26, topping all 36 participating international federations. This is an improvement from their previous score of 214, and marks the third consecutive review in which World Athletics has maintained its place in the top A1 band. The organization has made significant progress since the inaugural 2016-17 review, when it scored just 113 out of 200 and was placed in the B band.
