The inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship will take place from 11 to 13 September at the Gyula Zsivotzky National Athletics Centre in Budapest, Hungary, which previously hosted the 2023 World Championships. The event features 26 individual events plus two relays, with participants including reigning world, Olympic, and Diamond League champions such as Julien Alfred, Letsile Tebogo, Sha'Carri Richardson, and Jakob Ingebrigtsen. Unlike traditional championships, no medals will be awarded, though winners of individual events will receive prizes.
