World Boxing allows Russian, Belarusian boxers to compete as neutrals
World Boxing has announced that Russian and Belarusian boxers will be permitted to compete as Individual Neutral Athletes in international competitions with immediate effect, following a decision approved by its executive board in April 2026. The policy mirrors the approach taken by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and applies across all age-group competitions organised by World Boxing and European Boxing. Athletes from both countries must compete without national flags, anthems, logos, or uniforms.
