World class new Athletics track laid and ready for Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games action at Scotstoun Stadium

A new state-of-the-art DYNAMIK MONDO Sportflex Super X 720™ athletics track has been installed at Scotstoun Stadium in Glasgow ahead of the 2026 Commonwealth Games. The track will host 59 medal events across six days of Athletics and Para Athletics competition, running from Monday 27 July to Saturday 1 August 2026, with tickets already on sale for all 12 sessions. Notable athletes expected to compete on the new surface include Team Scotland's Josh Kerr (Mile) and Eilish McColgan (10,000m), and the facility will remain as a legacy asset for the city operated by Glasgow Life.
