World number one Korda wins US Women's Open golf championship

World number one Nelly Korda won the US Women's Open golf championship on Sunday at Riviera Country Club, claiming victory by one stroke. Korda secured the win with a clutch nine-foot birdie putt at the 17th hole, before nervously saving par at the 18th. The victory gave Korda her first US Open title and her fourth major championship overall, edging England's Charley Hull and Mexico's Gaby Lopez.
