World Rugby and RFU among bodies trying to throw out ex-players’ concussion lawsuits

Nearly 380 former rugby union players face having their concussion-related lawsuits dismissed after World Rugby and the Rugby Football Union (RFU) moved to strike out the cases. The governing bodies are citing an alleged repeated failure by the players to disclose key medical evidence as grounds for dismissal. The legal action relates to claims that players suffered long-term brain injuries due to inadequate concussion protocols during their careers.
