World Seniors Snooker Championship: Ronnie O'Sullivan beats Joe Perry 10-4 in final
Ronnie O'Sullivan won the World Seniors Snooker Championship on his debut in the tournament, defeating Joe Perry 10-4 in the final at Sheffield's Crucible Theatre. The 50-year-old, a seven-time World Championship winner, had confirmed his seniors debut earlier this year following rule changes that allowed his participation. O'Sullivan had previously been knocked out of the main World Championship in the second round by John Higgins before going on to claim the seniors title.
