WORLDS: Howard scores twice, Ekholm tallies another in victories for USA & Sweden

At the IIHF World Championship in Switzerland on Day 3, Isaac Howard scored twice to lead the United States to a 5-1 victory over Great Britain, giving the 22-year-old his first multi-goal game at the tournament across his sixth appearance. Mattias Ekholm also scored as Sweden defeated Denmark 6-2, while Latvia beat Germany 2-0. Howard now has two goals and an assist through two games at the 2026 tournament.
