Wrexham win on Women's Champions League debut

Wrexham Women celebrated their Women's Champions League debut with a 4-2 victory over FC Pyunik in the first qualifying round semi-final, held at the Racecourse. The win came after Wrexham claimed their first-ever Adran Premier title last season, earning them European qualification for the first time. Jenny Sugarman's side will now face Riga of Estonia in Saturday's first qualifying round final, after Riga defeated Glentoran 4-1.
