WTA Memphis Classic marks triumphant return at new Leftwich Tennis Center

The WTA Memphis Classic has returned to Memphis, Tennessee, featuring 32 top female tennis players with sessions running through Sunday, August 2. The tournament also serves as the grand opening for the newly built $31 million Leftwich Tennis Center in Audubon Park, constructed by local firm Grinder Taber Grinder. The facility, which had fallen into disrepair, was revived through a partnership between the city government, the University of Memphis, and Tennis Memphis, and now features 24 outdoor and 12 indoor courts.
