Wu Yize, 22, defeated Shaun Murphy 18-17 in a dramatic final frame to win the World Snooker Championship at the Crucible, clinching the title with a decisive break of 85. Wu becomes the second-youngest world snooker champion ever, and the second Chinese player to win the title following Zhao Xintong's victory 12 months prior. Wu had moved to Sheffield from China at age 16 to pursue his snooker career.
