Yankee Stadium Quietly Suffered a Summer Peanut Shortage

Yankee Stadium experienced a peanut shortage during August and September 2024, leaving fans unable to find the classic ballpark snack for weeks. The Yankees announced they resolved the issue just in time for Game 3 of the AL Divisional Series on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, held at the Bronx stadium. The shortage had gone largely unnoticed publicly until the team addressed it ahead of the playoff game.
