Yuki Tsunoda: Racing Bulls is “pretty impressed” with my performance so far

Yuki Tsunoda is standing in for Liam Lawson at the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort, after Lawson was called up to Red Bull following Isack Hadjar's wrist injury. The 26-year-old has been progressively closing the gap to rookie team-mate Arvid Lindblad, reducing his deficit from 0.825 seconds in free practice to just 0.011 seconds in Q1, despite being unfamiliar with the 2026-spec machinery. Racing Bulls has expressed that they are 'pretty impressed' with how Tsunoda has adapted to the new generation of cars.
