Yuna Nishimura shot an 8-under 63 at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Arkansas, to take a one-shot lead over Yu Liu in the first round of the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship on the LPGA Tour. Nishimura, a six-time winner on the Japan LPGA in her fourth year on the LPGA Tour, closed her front nine with three consecutive birdies and finished with a birdie-eagle.
