Zach Johnson won the Kaulig Companies Championship at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio, claiming his first PGA TOUR Champions major title with a six-shot victory after closing with a 2-under 68 on Sunday. It was Johnson's third win in his rookie season on the 50-and-older tour, having posted a third-round 63 to build a four-shot lead entering the final round. Boo Weekley finished second at 9-under 271, while Rory Sabbatini took third after shooting 66-66 over the weekend.
