Zoe Stratford: Sale Sharks agree deal to sign England World Cup-winning captain

England Women's rugby captain Zoe Stratford, 29, has agreed to join Sale Sharks at the end of the current season. Stratford led England to their third World Cup triumph last year and has earned 69 Test caps since her international debut in 2016. She will leave three-time defending Premiership Women's Rugby champions Gloucester-Hartpury, where she has played since 2017, and is currently pregnant with her first child, due in September.
