Zolani Tete: Former world champion boxer shot dead outside home in South Africa

Former world champion boxer Zolani Tete, 38, was shot and killed outside his home in Mdantsane, Eastern Cape, South Africa on Friday. He was ambushed by two armed men wearing balaclavas who opened fire as he waited for his gate to open; a 27-year-old woman with him was also shot multiple times and hospitalized. Tete, known for producing the fastest knockout in world title history, had recently completed a doping ban and was planning a comeback.
