Zolani Tete: Four arrested over boxing champion's murder in South Africa

South African boxing champion Zolani Tete, 38, was shot dead in an ambush outside his home in Mdantsane, Eastern Cape on Friday. Four people have been arrested in connection with his murder; a 22-year-old suspect will appear in court Monday facing murder and attempted murder charges, while the remaining three are due in court Tuesday. Tete, a former WBO bantamweight champion (2017–2019) and IBF super-flyweight title holder (2014), had been training for a comeback fight after a four-year ban that lapsed in July.
