Zverev sets up French Open final with Cobolli and opportunity he cannot afford to miss

Alexander Zverev, the second seed and world No. 3, reached the French Open final for the second time by defeating Czech 26th seed Jakub Mensik 7-5, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3. It will be Zverev's fourth grand slam final overall, having previously lost at the 2020 US Open, the 2024 French Open to Alcaraz, and the 2025 Australian Open to Sinner. He will face 10th seed Flavio Cobolli, who reached his first grand slam final after opponent Matteo Arnaldi withdrew due to a virus just 25 minutes before their semi-final was scheduled to start.
